Walking in the Secret Garden

Interviewing Christie Smirl, radiant avatara of Kali Goddess

Christie Smirl, avatara and living incarnation of one of the many radiant manifestations of the Goddess Kali. I met her in a moment of my stormy existence, a moment with a lacerating intensity, between the folds of the “case” that is never a “case”. Important returns to the surface of the visible led me to her, and I was immediately fascinated.
I, immediately, recognized the mark of the avatara, since my whole existence had been dotted by many physical encounters with these “embodied natures”. I love to meet again, on earth, my Family, because each new encounter reintroduces the powerfull and subtle connections between US into a new cosmic balance, and I have always known how to recognize that whose provenance exudes an antiquity without a verb. I love to know how the process of evolution of the disembodied consciousness, in the case of the avatara, blends with the worldly conditioning, and with the evolution of the physiological apparatus. The avatars have been one of the centers of my reflection from when i was very young and all of them have some elements in common, which are the “mark” of animic antiquity and the consequence of reminescence flowing from cosmic conscience. The fact of wanting to dwell in particular on the relationship that Christie Smirl had with the spirits, responds to my idea of “authentic reality”. I believe that for those who were born as avatara the assignment of the depth of meaning, unlike what happens in “human” natures, responds and should respond to other “laws”(the same low that that govern the worlds from which these consciousnesses are promanate) , because other is the nature in being incarnated. Respecting these laws even within the material dimension is fundamental to sustain and nourish the essence that animates the incarnation. In other words, n my perspective,  the only way for an avatara to be on earth is to develop, nourish, recognize his nature, develop and transform his consciousness in the direction of the non-human. All avatars were contacted, at a very young age, by spirits, and in a completely natural way. This is because spirits are attracted by the powerfull radiation that that non-human consciousness can-desk. It was therefore important for me to focus the questions in this interview on the “metaphysical” di-mension of the relationship with the spirits in order to highlight the most significant dimension of Christie Smirl’s existence.

  • A presentation. What is the essence of Christie Smirl?

Born 1973, Leo ascendant with Magha star on a dark moon in the Kali Mula Gandanta with Scorpio in Venus, Mercury and Neptune. I am intense, deeply passionate, curious, kind and far reaching. During this incarnation, my mission is to create multidimensional healing to assist human evolution. Professionally, I am a Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine, Professor, Nurse Practitioner and Master of Science. With over 25 years experience in an acute care hospital, I have witnessed and bridged a great chasm of human suffering and death. This has opened portals for creating harmony between the living and disincarnate. From the time I was first asked as a small child, I declared that I was here to be a healer.

My childhood was unstable, dark, isolated, frightening and dangerous. At the age of four I was initiated during a ritual and had my first out of body experience (OBE). At that moment I realized I was more than physical matter and that I could communicate with the spirit world. The spirits encompassed me like overwhelming guardians, inquisitors and drivers. Without proper understanding of these entities, I was filled with terror and confusion. Appearing at times similar to a schizophrenic, I was taken to a priestess at the age of 8. She taught me how to utilize my subtle body field to generate a new vibrational signal that stabilized and protected me into adulthood to carry out my path.

My spiritual name is Kalavati Devi, a form of Kali, daughter of the King of the second underworld, perfected by Shaiva Panchakshara. I am initiated in Sant Mat lineage by Sri Sri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Adishakti Satigiri Ji Maharaj and I am a vessel and transmitter of light and dark divinity.

  • And What is not the essence of Christie Smirl?

Christie Smirl, Kalavati Devi

I am not cruel, ill-willed, unfair, lazy or superficial.  I do not enjoy the company of many humans, rather, I prefer the company of myself and spirits.

  • What are the most important values you recognized in your existence?

Fearless radical transformation. Restructuring human vessels and consciousness to create harmony between the microcosm and macrocosm; to bridge the seen and unseen for evolution of the highest good.

  • At some point in your life, you have established contact with the Loa elemental spirits. What was your first experience of contact with these intelligences? Is it matched to which particular event in the matter?

I believe that the Loa have always been in communication with me, but I did not understand them. In mid 2018 I sensed a deep movement under the crust of the earth near my home with an approximate 100 mile radius. New intelligences were reaching out, but I did not understand them. In 2018, I underwent a radical alchemical transformation. The volume of entities around me increased exponentially along with visions, spontaneous rituals, physical experiences and even bees, albino spiders and monarchs appearing at my home. I could not logically or academically explain any of it. So I dove deeper into my daily rituals to Hindu Gods and Goddesses such as Shiva, Kali, Krishna and the 64 Yoginis, but knew there were many more I was not formally acknowledging. In February of 2019 I saw an image inside a photo posted on social media. It caused an immediate radionic transmission. I was informed that the image was a photo of Jean Maine.

That same day I began drawing uncontrollably. I had purchased The Voudon Gnostic Workbook prior, but had not read it yet. The very next day I began flipping to random pages, obtaining information, drawing unfamiliar designs. March 2019, I began to draw what I later realized where Loa sigils. At times I would cry, not knowing how to communicate or honor them. I reached out for advice from friends who were experienced with Loa.

  • What has changed in your life after these intelligences have manifested them- selves?

Establishing a relationship with the Loa has been a beautiful unfolding. New knowledge has been made available. New human connections have proven beneficial. My life’s path and purpose has become clearer. I feel like I have returned to a home with the Loa that was forgotten. At times, the process of change is so fast that I have a hard time calibrating, but my Ayurvedic and Yoga training and trusted guides help keep me grounded.

  • How would you describe their nature?

As I have experienced the Loa, they are direct in nature. They have not demanded anything or attempted to psychically manipulate. My overall impression is that they are helpful. I do not sense that they possess the same moral compass like other entities. The have not been troublesome or hostile to me, although some will “feed” from your essence without consent if you are not mindful. One Loa in particular that I have a relationship with is rather protective and people around me report  sensing a large dark, swirling, dominating guardian around me and my home. Others seem smaller, silly and mischievous, even to the point of tickling, but I can’t tell all the spirits apart at times.

  • What ritual practices do you privilege to nurture the subtle connection with such intelligences?

As I said earlier, I originally did not know what types of offerings to give, since most my rituals are geared towards the Hindu pantheon. I was given advice to go into meditation and ask the Loa directly what they would like. Many seem interested when I am engaged in bhakti, cooking, bathing or sex, however, these four activities have four things in common: candles, scents, food/drink and enjoyment. I often set out little cups of alcohol, honey water and food treats. They don’t like salads. They especially enjoy bodily secretions. I found it interesting that some enjoy burnt dried body secretions on sage, burnt hair, burnt nail trimmings and burnt dead bugs. I use a specific scent that they seem to enjoy that is a combination of clove, cinnamon and orange. One Loa friend of mine, really loves burnt Monarch butterfly chrysalis casings. Mostly, I find that they enjoy being acknowledged with respect, genuineness, a friendly open heart and hosted like a friend.

  • Did you notice any permanent transformations of the way your ordinary senses operate after their manifestation?

Yes. My extrasensory perception and skills have peeked. Obstacles have been removed. I feel more in tune to the cosmic whole and connected to other humans who have Loa contacts. Since their manifestation, I have experienced prophetic drawing and writing, sometimes for days on end. My personal healing has accelerated and additional spirit initiations have occured. My senses are more vibrant and vivid. I have less tolerance for artificial lighting or loud speech. I prefer even more seclusion now to avoid the onslaught of vibrations emanating from imbalanced humans.

  • Among the books you have read, what in your opinion was the one that most closely captured their essence? And which one has had a greater profound impact on you?

The only book that I have read that discusses Loa is the Voudon Gnostic Workbook. I am sure that I am in possession of other books already, that I have not begun or finished. Naturally I did a google search in my beginning experiences, but found quite a bit of nonsense. I am open to reading more. Nearly all of my understanding is experiential rather than academic.

  • When does value possess the “direct” knowledge of these intelligences, compared to their study in books?

One can read a book on how to have a ”good marriage” or how to be a “proper parent”, but experiencing the relationship offers irreplaceable direct knowledge. I can read about a relationship all year, but “having” a relationship is a whole different ball game. Just as each human to human relationship creates a unique synergistic give and take, I feel the same applies to relationships with disincarnate intelligences. I started with a fresh clean slate, like going on a blind date. I take it one step at a time. I’m still learning, experimenting and most of all, fostering mutually beneficial relationships.

  • Can you dedicate to the spirits the last words of this interview?

To my dearest companions and guides:  Thank you for your friendship, protection, assistance and collaboration to transverse unseen realms in order to facilitate my current mission of transforming into my highest potential and the creation of harmony, evolution and grace.

Thanks Christie Smirl for this interview. A bow!
